The role:
The ideal candidate would be a well respected Project Manager with a proven track record in the New Zealand market. Leadership and technical skills, combined with passion for the work and the team
Brief Outline:

Overall responsibility for the successful and safe delivery of the allocated projects;

Provide leadership to the project and employ these attributes in all business dealings and relationships;

Develop and maintain a thriving and engaging one team culture, supporting the development of our people;
-
Ensuring appropriate project procedures, design standards and specifications are implemented;
-
Development of and delivery to the approved project budgets;
-
Oversee the project team consisting of external contractors, subject matter experts, consultants and operational staff to successfully deliver the allocated projects;
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with our stakeholders, agencies, and partners; and
-
Ensure that the business objectives are achieved successfully.

You will need:
-
Previous experience in NZ Oil and Gas industry in leadership roles
-
Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management (or similar) roles
-
Computer literate (MS Office, etc)

Familiarity with computerized Maintenance Management systems and MS Project.

Ability to effectively communicate with Supervisors, Engineers, and Managers at all levels.
-
Experience in scheduling both large and medium sized projects.
-
Ability to work as part of a composite team to meet challenging Safety and Quality targets to tight deadlines.
-
Experience working in an industrial site environment, preferably Petrochemical.

Current valid NZ Driving License.

Salary negotiated around $80 - $85 per hour
* Applicants must be New Zealand or equivalent qualified and experienced and must have the right to work in New Zealand. A full, clean driving licence and experience in driving a manual transmission, 4WD utility vehicle is an advantage.
