The role:

For this role, we need a skilled and seasoned "self-starter" who can manage and keep his/her finger on all things mechanical, seismic and structural steel and enjoys the buzz of working with a high performing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of pricing, including preparation and analysis of cost estimates, quotes and tenders. Ensuring accurate cost planning, quantity take offs, measurements, along with accurate project documentation records and reports.

This is a primarily autonomous role, so you are going to need the skills, experience and confidence to take the lead. If you have at least five years NZ experience and a reputation that others aspire to, we need to talk to you.

You will be:

  • Responsible for all aspects of pricing, including preparation and analysis of cost estimates, quotes and tenders 

  • Ensuring accurate cost planning, quantity take offs, measurements, along with accurate project documentation records and reports

  • Building strong relationships with clients, in-house team and contractors

​

You will need:

  • A depth of knowledge across the Construction industry and a deep understanding of Commercial/Residential Construction and local building codes is essential

  • At least 5 years proven experience in NZ Construction Industry

  • Proficiency in using estimating software and other technical tools is important for efficiency and accuracy.

  • An outgoing personality and awesome attitude 

  • Have a clean full NZ Drivers license. 

  • Honesty and integrity in your daily activities 

  • Experience with both commercial and residential Estimation

  • Take pride in your work and to go the extra mile to make sure your work is top notch. 

  • Great people skills both with fellow workmates and customers

 

You can expect:

  • Earn a salary of between $90,000 -150,000
