Estimator / Quantity Surveyor - Civil

The role:

With over 70 years digging up the Canterbury Plains, these guys know where the bodies are buried. Specialising in large scale earthworks projects, site works, drainage, demolition, heavy haulage and shingle processing and sales, they’re a strong and reputable partner in your career path. Working in a collaborative, supportive team, you will be working on a variety of projects worth $50,000 to $10,000,000. The process starts at the tendering stage, and you will work with the project team through to project close-out.

About you:

• Experience working on complex Civils and Drainage tenders (preferably five or more years)

• In-depth understanding of Civil projects and processes

• Strong knowledge and understanding of regulations and contracts

• Top-notch customer service and negotiation skills

• High attention to detail and a keen eye for opportunities

• Experience in financial and commercial management

• Qualification in a related field (QS/Eng)
