Concrete - it’s complicated - and that’s exactly why we’re looking for a Technical Manager capable of some edge-of-the-seat yarns to entertain and regale those in the know and those who want to know.

The role:
You will take responsibility for the technical design management requirements overseeing various technical activities for concrete delivery and installation processes.
The role will also ask as a Subject Matter Expert both internally and externally when required
The skills:
-
A tertiary qualified Engineer (Civil/Structural)
-
A minimum of 7 years experience within the construction industry preferably in 
related trades (concrete)
-
Technical knowledge of floor design and detailing, particularly the application of 
yield line analysis to thin plate structures
-
Surveying and testing skills – for specific tests such as floor flatness and general 
construction industry set out
-
An understanding of contracting/project management principles - Including 
programming, breaking tasks into daily work plans, using slack and multiple work 
faces etc.

Experience with key industry software such as Project Management tools (MS 
Project, Primevera) and design tools (CAD/Revit)
-
High level communication skills with the ability to enhance communication and 
build and maintain effective relationships

A result focused, commercially astute outlook and a practical approach to problem 
solving

Ability to travel when required
