Procurement Manager

This Procurement team is looking for a dynamic individual, who is keen to learn and expand their Procurement skills. You will be:

• Developing and executing procurement strategies and processes aligned with company objectives and financial goals.

• Working alongside the design team to pick up large value items and items with long lead times to ensure sourcing at the best price and ensure lead times are meet

• Optimising logistics operations for timely deliveries while driving year-on-year cost reductions through streamlined processes.

• Establishing and maintaining planning tools and processes to ensure the accurate and timely provision of information to all parts of the business.

 

To be successful in the role you will have:

• The ability to work in a team and foster collaborative working relationships.

• A strong understanding of best practice procurement management.

• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in the manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, policies, and regulations

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in vendor management and supplier relationship management
